During that horrible time of lockdown I did a blog about an amazing DJ that was playing music and providing entertainment for all the local people in this part of the world for free and tonight he very kindly donated his time and provided the same amazing cheesy music in the style that only he can for the skating group that we set up recently.
It’s a bit of a strange one really because the skating group is kind of small and perfectly set up and it’s not too official and it’s just a lot of fun and we don’t want it to end up with hundreds of people coming along to it but because we got such a good response to disco stu who is the DJ that works in this part of the world we thought we shouts about it
Rox skaters…. The way to find them is to have a look on Facebook and drop them a message
There isn’t a regular time that they always skate so you’ll have to drop a message to see when the next meeting is but it’s set up on the basis that skating should be fun and they shouldn’t be too many rules other than you skating your own risk and you should be kind to other people and skaters
If your fortunate enough to have been to one of our skates and enjoyed yourself and taking any pictures then please send them across to us #roxskaters.
I know that I’m very lucky and people see this blog all over the world and I’m sorry that this one is kind of local but you would need to be pretty much in the UK and in West Sussex to make this viable but it just goes to show you if you get in with the right people and you set up the right sort of thing you can have a great time at very little expense
